Despite today's never-ending talk about globalization and the
merging of world cultures, German cars still have a personality
all their own. But like most strong personalities, the distinct
flavor of Teutonic automobiles isn't a favorite with everybody.
While the typical German car's smooth, refined manners are
impressive, such machines can seem a little too slick feeling
for some -- they tend to be a bit isolating, sterile, chilly.
Count me among believers of the latter. I generally like cars ...

When needing a replacement part for you car, where do you shop?
Like many motorists you may head down to the big box retailer
for all of your needs. A good choice both for value and for
selection. Still, mostly any retailer is limited as to what they
can stock. This especially holds true if you drive a rare or
uncommon vehicle. Try finding a window regulator for your '69
Torino at the parts store; they'll get it for you but it will
have to be back ordered. So, where should you shop? That's up ...

If your vehicle's clutch has failed, then you could be faced
with an expensive repair bill depending on the make and model of
your car and the garage doing the work. Between high parts
prices and labor costs, you could easily face a bill of $500,
$700, or even $1000 or more. Perhaps you should consider doing
the job yourself? If so, let's take a look at clutch kits and
the best way for you to obtain one at a reasonable price.
All clutch kits come with three items standard, with a fourth
item ...

If you were to mention to someone that most performance
automotive parts can conserve fuel while producing more power,
likely you would not be believed. In previous generations this
statement would probably have held true, but today -- due to
technological advances -- you can usually see an increase in
power along with the added benefit of receiving a slight
increase in fuel economy. This holds true for exhaust headers,
the topic of this article.
Exhaust headers are one of the simplest add on ...

Your $30,000 car has come equipped with all of the latest bells
and whistles: traction control; Sirius satellite radio; side
curtain air bags; Onstar; and power everything. Well, there is
one thing that is curiously left out of many new car purchases
and that is floor mats. You would think that matching floor mats
would be standard equipment on all vehicles, instead it is an
aftermarket purchase for most motorists. Selecting the right
type of floor mat is essential to preserving your ...

Cars and trucks built before about 1935 came on wire spoke
wheels with small metal caps installed to seal the wheel hub on
the axle. Those early "HUBcaps" were smaller than 3" in
diameter, made of heavy gauge plated steel hammered onto the hub
of the wheel. Their main function was to keep dirt out of the
spindle nut and wheel bearings.
In the mid '30s, hubcaps became more decorative than functional.
The 'dog dish' style was born, chrome hemispheres 9 inches in
diameter, covering the lug nuts ...

Chevrolet's brawny plastic-bodied two-seater has long been a
dream machine for countless enthusiasts. Today, that dream is
more in reach than ever. The fourth generation or "C4" version
of these cars are absolute steals on used-car lots.
These potent performers made their debut for 1984, replacing the
soft, boulevardier 1968-82 "Shark" design. With vastly improved
aerodynamics and extensive use of aluminum in its construction,
the C4 was enormously more capable than its predecessor.
Throughout ...

When you drive, you are not only responsible for your own safety
but as well as the safety of your passengers and other people
including drivers of other cars, their passengers, pedestrians
crossing the road and those on the sidewalks. Having
responsibilities as huge as these isn't a joke; thus, one must
be serious in following traffic rules and keeping his auto away
from accidents as much as possible.
Auto Parts Corner
values your safety more than other auto parts stores do. It
promotes safe ...

Looking for sports-car kicks, but with the abundance of speed
parts and vast modification potential of a Civic? Look no
further than Honda's feisty little CRX.
These pocket-size coupes made their debut for 1984. Essentially
a two-seat version of the redesigned Civic also introduced that
year, the CRX was initially aimed at people who sought frugal
commuting (base 1.3-liter versions had EPA fuel economy ratings
of 51 mpg city, 67 highway).
But the real news for enthusiasts came the following ...

School Reading Lofts. These reading lofts are in schools and there is no help in getting them resolved. I have seen these lofts located in schools that are unsprinkled. Check out this link to view the video.
www.flameoffcoatings.comSchools have been warned of the problem and have ignored the situation. Fire inspectors across the US have been trying to get the school lofts protected and have had no support from the schools. If these school lofts caught fire the school could be lost in ...
